We are committed to minimising waste. Where we are able, we collect and strip all assets to recycle the components. With paper, all shredded material is sent to a paper mill to be made into new paper products such as tissue or recycled paper. With IT equipment containing a range of materials, we strip all the assets including batteries prior to shredding, then separate metals, and plastics for recycling. With uniforms that cannot be sent to recycle bins, we shred the textiles to be made for fillings for car parts or mattresses.
